The 17th century piece of art "Portrait of an Officer" was created by the artist Jan Anthonisz van Ravesteyn. The over 390 year-old original had the size: height: 115 cm width: 96,5 cm | height: 45,3 in width: 38 in and was painted with the technique of oil on canvas. The original painting has the following text as inscrption: dated and signed: A°:1624 R:Fbears inscription: 23.. Moveover, this artwork is included in the Mauritshuis's art collection, which the Mauritshuis is home to the best artworks of Dutch painting of the seventeenth century. This classic art artpiece, which belongs to the public domain is provided with courtesy of Mauritshuis, The Hague.
