In 1825 Joseph Rebell painted the classicist piece of art "Italian landscape with sunset". The 190 years old masterpiece measures the dimensions: 72,5 x 99 cm. Oil on canvas was applied by the Austrian painter as the medium of the painting. The original artpiece has the following inscription: signed and dated lower left: Jos. Rebel 1825th. What is more, this artwork can be viewed in in the Belvedere's collection, which is one of Europe's most famous museums with three locations that blends the experience of architecture and art in a unique way. We are glad to reference that the public domain masterpiece is being provided with courtesy of © Belvedere, Vienna, inventory number: 7864. Also, the artwork has the following creditline: transfer from the Kunsthistorisches Museum, Vienna in 1987. Besides this, the alignment is in landscape format and has an aspect ratio of 4 : 3, meaning that the length is 33% longer than the width. Joseph Rebell was a male painter from Austria, whose style can be classified as Classicism. The European artist was born in 1787 in Vienna, Vienna state, Austria and died at the age of 41 in the year 1828 in Dresden, Saxony, Germany.
