At sunset, on the eastern shore of the Bosphorus, a woman is lying naked on colorful fabrics, arm raised above his head. It is surrounded by servants, including a musician and a slave with a fan. On the right, a shrine capped by a dome include stone fountain. A skiff and oars waiting sunken near the shore. Further, there are the St. Sophia silhouette.
A great traveler, Felix Ziem stayed twice at Constantinople in June 1847 and for two months in 1856. The watercolors executed on the grounds will subsequently times in the workshop.
