The creditline of the artwork is: transfer from the Kunsthistorisches Museum, Vienna in 1927. Besides this, the alignment of the digital reproduction is in portrait format with a side ratio of 1 : 1.4, meaning that the length is 29% shorter than the width. The painter Friedrich von Amerling was a European artist, whose art style can primarily be classified as Biedermeier. The Biedermeier artist was born in 1803 in Vienna, Vienna state, Austria and died at the age of 84 in the year 1887 in Vienna, Vienna state, Austria.

The reason for this view is unknown. Neither one knows at what Baron Pfuel is here, for guided von Amerling List recorded for the year 1837 (!), Only the title "Flame Santander Mayor and Portrait of Baron Pfull purchased from Arthaber 60 Duc."
