• Poster print on canvas material: Our poster print is a printed sheet of canvas paper with a nice surface finish. Please bear in mind, that depending on the size of the poster print we add a white margin of something between 2-6cm round about the print motif, which facilitates the framing with your custom frame.

Faust and Gretchen in the 19th century is a painting painted by the artist Franz Dobiaschofsky in 1848. The beyond 170 year-old original measures the size: 74 x 60 cm - frame: 122,5 × 109 × 10,5 cm. Oil on canvas was applied by the artist as the medium of the painting. The artpiece has the following inscription: "signed lower left (under the paint layer): Dobiaschofsky pinx 1848". Further, the alignment is in portrait format with an aspect ratio of 1 : 1.2, which implies that the length is 20% shorter than the width. The painter Franz Dobiaschofsky was an artist, whose artistic style can be classified as Romanticism. The Romanticist artist was born in 1818 in Vienna and passed away at the age of 49 in the year 1867.
