In 1838 the male British artist Thomas Creswick painted this piece of art with the title "The Summer Bower, Derwent Water". The over 180 year old original version measures the size: Height: 229 mm (9,01 ″); Width: 178 mm (7 ″). Oil was applied by the British painter as the technique for the artwork. This work of art is included in the Yale Center for British Art's art collection.
