This panoramic landscape depicts Gloucester, Massachusetts, one of Childe Hassam’s favorite destinations. During the summer months Gloucester was home to many artists, who, like Hassam, chose to emphasize its picturesque aspects, such as its quaint architecture and sailing vessels rather than its fish-processing plants. The composition exhibits Hassam’s broken brushwork and his use of bare canvas. Bright, saturated blues and crisp whites augment the maritime tenor of the work, while the square canvas highlights its architectonic quality and harmoniously organized space.

- Acrylic glass print (with real glass coating): An acrylic glass print, which is often labelled as a print on plexiglass, transforms your favorite original artwork into brilliant home decoration and makes a viable alternative option to dibond or canvas art prints.
- Printed poster (canvas material): A poster print is a printed canvas with a granular surface structure. Please note, that depending on the size of the canvas poster print we add a white margin of around 2-6cm around the work of art, which facilitates the framing with your custom frame.
- Canvas: A printed canvas, which should not be confused with an artwork painted on a canvas, is a digital copy printed on a cotton canvas. The great advantage of canvas prints is that they are relatively low in weight. This means, it is easy and straightforward to hang the Canvas print without extra wall-mounts. A canvas print is suitable for all types of walls.
- Aluminium dibond (metal print): Aluminium Dibond prints are metal prints with an outstanding depth. For the Direct Aluminium Dibond print, we print the chosen artwork on the surface of the white-primed aluminum composite.
