Original description by Musée Carnavalet Paris (© Copyright - Musée Carnavalet Paris - Musée Carnavalet Paris)
Discovered in 1650, on land where the current passes rue des Eaux, the ferruginous waters of Passy were exploited successfully from the early eighteenth century, when a thermal establishment with gaming circle, dancing and restaurant was opened to the public. Neglected during the Revolution, they were again exploited after 1803 when Benjamin Delessert (1773-1847) wealthy business and industrial sources were redeemed, subsumed in the huge property he owned on the hillside of Passy. Victims of urbanization of the area, the sources began to dry up during the Second Empire and the spa was closed down in 1868. Between Raynouard street and the Seine, the Delessert Park disappeared between the two wars.

Choose your favorite material option
In the dropdown selection right next to the product you can pick the size and material of your choice. Choose among the following product options now to match your preferences in size and material:
- Poster print (canvas material): Our poster print is a UV printed canvas paper with a fine structure on the surface. Please keep in mind, that depending on the absolute size of the poster we add a white margin between 2-6cm around the print to facilitate the framing with your custom frame.
- The canvas print: A canvas print is a printed canvas mounted on a wood stretcher. Additionally, a printed canvas produces a familiar, pleasant feeling. Canvas Prints have the great advantage of being low in weight, meaning that it is easy to hang the Canvas print without additional wall-mounts. A canvas print is suitable for all kinds of walls.
- Acrylic glass print (with real glass coating): The acrylic glass print, often named a UV print on plexiglass, changes the artwork into beautiful décor. Your favorite artwork will be manufactured with modern UV print technology. The major upside of an acrylic glass art print is that contrasts as well as small artwork details become more visible because of the granular gradation. The plexiglass with real glass coating protects your chosen art print against light and heat for between 4 and six decades.
- Aluminium dibond (metal print): Aluminium Dibond prints are metal prints with a true depth, creating a modern impression with a surface , which is non-reflective. For our Aluminium Dibond print, we print the favorite artpiece onto the surface of the white-primed aluminum material. This print on aluminium is one of the most demanded entry-level products and is an extremely stylish way to display artworks, because it draws focus on the artwork.
