The modern art masterpiece Leopold the Glorious as a patron of the arts and sciences was created by the historicist artist Karl von Blaas. The 160 year old piece of art measures the size: 30 x 84,5 cm - frame dimensions: 42 x 97 x 5 cm and was painted with the technique oil on canvas. The piece of art can be viewed in in the digital collection of Belvedere, which is one of Europe's most famous museums with three locations that blends the experience of architecture and art in a unique way. The mosaicist, painter, autobiographer Karl von Blaas was an artist, whose style was primarily Historicism. The painter was born in the year 1815 in Nauders, Tyrol, Austria and deceased at the age of 79 in 1894 in Vienna, Vienna state, Austria.
