Important note: We try our utmost to describe the art products as accurately as we can and to demonstrate them visually in our shop. Product specifications

The 18th century masterpiece was created by the male French painter Baron Antoine Jean Gros in 1796. The piece of art measures the size: 43,2 × 31,2 cm (17 × 12 1/4") and was painted with the techinque of oil on canvas. A Génes 1796 (lower right, inscribed in the wet paint with the butt end of the brush) is the artwork's original inscription. Furthermore, the artwork is included in the collection of Art Institute Chicago, which is located in Chicago, Illinois, United States of America. We are delighted to state that this public domain artpiece is being included with courtesy of Art Institute Chicago. Creditline of the artwork: Charles H. and Mary F. S. Worcester Collection. Further, the alignment of the digital reproduction is in portrait format and has an image ratio of 1 : 1.4, meaning that the length is 29% shorter than the width.
