English: Barye produced a large number of sculptures, drawings and paintings of animals. His greatest fascination was for exotic animals – an interest he shared with Delacroix. Both artists frequently went to the travelling zoo that visited Paris around 1830, where they could study the famous tiger Atir at close range. Drama and combat are recurrent themes in Barye’s oeuvre.

Choose your favorite fine art print material
For every product we offer a range of different sizes & materials. Choose your preferred material and size among the subsequent preferences:
- Metal (aluminium dibond print): Aluminium Dibond prints are prints on metal with an impressive depth effect - for a modern look and non-reflective surface structure. The Aluminium Dibond Print is the ideal introduction to fine art prints on aluminum. For our Direct Print On Aluminum Dibond, we print the favorite artwork right onto the surface of the aluminum composite. The white & bright parts of the original artpiece shimmer with a silky gloss, however without glare. The print on aluminium is the most popular entry-level product and is an extremely contemporary way to display artworks, since it draws attention on the artwork.
- Canvas print: The canvas print, which shall not be confused with a canvas painting, is a digital replica printed directly on canvas. Further, a canvas generates a familiar and warm feeling. How can I hang a canvas on my wall? Canvas prints are relatively low in weight, which implies that it is quite simple to hang your Canvas print without the use of extra wall-mounts. A canvas print is suited for any kind of wall.
- The glossy acrylic glass print (with real glass coating): An acrylic glass print, often described as a fine art print on plexiglass, will convert the original artwork into lovely décor. The artwork will be made with state-of-the-art UV print technology.
- Poster on canvas material: The Artprinta poster is a UV printed flat canvas paper with a slightly rough surface finish. Please bear in mind, that depending on the absolute size of the poster we add a white margin 2-6cm round about the print motif, which facilitates the framing with your custom frame.
