Important information: We try everything to describe our products in as much detail as possible and to display them visually in our shop. Still, the tone of the print materials, as well as the print result may differ marginally from the image on the device's screen. Depending on your screen settings and the quality of the surface, color pigments may not be printed one hundret percent realistically. Because the are processed and printed manually, there might as well be slight deviations in the size and exact position of the motif.

Beaumarchais purchased the land in 1787 and built his house by architect Lemoine. He died in 1799. The house was demolished in 1818 to facilitate the opening of the Canal Saint-Martin.

This more than 230 years old masterpiece The house of Beaumarchais and the Bastille was painted by the artist Jean-Baptiste François Genillion in the year 1788. The original was painted with the size: Height: 40 cm, Width: 55,2 cm. The artwork's inscription is the following: Signing of the running - Signed on a low branch to the right: "Gemillion".
