Choose your product material
In the product dropdown menu you can choose your prefered size and material. You can pick your favorite material and size among the options:
- Printed poster (canvas material): The Artprinta poster print is a printed sheet of canvas paper with a fine surface structure. It is best suited for placing the art print with a customized frame. Please note, that depending on the absolute size of the poster we add a white margin 2-6cm around the artwork in order to facilitate the framing with a custom frame.
- Print on acrylic glass: The acrylic glass print, often labelled as a plexiglass print, makes your favorite original artwork into brilliant wall décor.
- Aluminium dibond print (metal): An Aluminium Dibond print is a print with an outstanding depth - for a modern look and non-reflective surface. For the Print On Aluminum Dibond, we print your selected artwork right on the aluminium composite surface. The colors of the print are vivid and luminous, fine details are crisp, and there’s a matte look that you can literally feel.
- Canvas: The printed canvas, not to be mistaken with an artwork painted on a canvas, is a digital copy printed from a UV direct printer. Hanging a canvas print: Canvas prints are relatively low in weight, which implies that it is easy to hang up the Canvas print without any wall-mounts. Hence, a canvas print is suited for all types of walls.
Important legal note: We try whatever we can in order to describe our products with as many details as possible and to display them visually on the respective product detail pages. Although, some tone of the print products, as well as the print result can diverge to a certain extent from the image on the device's screen. Depending on the screen settings and the condition of the surface, colors can unfortunately not be printed as realistically as the digital version depicted here. Since our are processed and printed by hand, there might also be slight discrepancies in the motif's exact position and the size.
General description from the museum (© - The Metropolitan Museum of Art - www.metmuseum.org)
The great Renaissance collector Isabella d’Este, marquess of Mantua, commissioned this charming portrait of her son Federico Gonzaga to console her when he was taken to the papal court in Rome as hostage. It was painted by Francia as the young heir passed through Bologna, and was so admired that Isabella had to reclaim it from some papal courtiers. Federico’s black hat and gold-embroidered gown were much in vogue, and his gaze is exceptionally sweet for a fifteenth-century portrait. Soon after Isabella finally received the portrait she gave it away in response to an unexpected gift from a gentleman in Ferrara who had sent her a magnificent book of sonnets.
