One of Rembrandt’s last pupils, Aert de Gelder continued to paint with the glowing colors, shimmering, richly textured surfaces, and psychological penetration of his master’s very late work well into the 18th century. This picture has the appearance of a portrait, but the intimate frontal pose and rather fanciful costume suggest the kind of historicizing character study favored by Rembrandt and his pupils.

The product material options
For every product we offer a range of different sizes & materials. Choose among the following product options now to match your preferences in size and material:
- Aluminium dibond print (metal): An Aluminium Dibond print is a print with a true depth. The Direct Print on Aluminum Dibond is the excellent introduction to fine art replicas manufactured on aluminum. For our Aluminium Dibond print, we print the favorite artpiece onto the surface of the aluminum material. The white & bright sections of the work of art shimmer with a silky gloss, however without any glow. The colors of the print are luminous, the fine details appear clear and crisp. This print on aluminium is the most popular entry-level product and is an extremely contemporary way to display art, as it puts the viewer’s attention on the replica of the artwork.
- Acrylic glass print (with real glass coating on top): The print on acrylic glass, which is often denoted as a plexiglass print, makes your favorite original artwork into gorgeous décor. Further, it offers a good alternative option to canvas and aluminidum dibond art prints. The work of art is printed with the help of state-of-the-art UV direct print machines. It creates deep and rich color shades. The major benefit of an acrylic glass fine art print is that contrasts and image details will be more visible with the help of the precise gradation. The acrylic glass protects your chosen art print against sunlight and heat for between 40-60 years.
- Printed poster (canvas material): The Artprinta poster is a UV printed canvas paper with a slightly rough surface finish. It is excellently qualified for framing your art replica using a custom-made frame. Please note, that depending on the size of the poster we add a white margin of approximately 2-6cm around the print in order to facilitate the framing with your custom frame.
- The canvas print: The canvas direct print is a printed canvas stretched on a wood stretcher. A canvas creates the sculptural look of three-dimensionality. The printed canvas creates a charming and enjoyable atmosphere. The great advantage of canvas prints is that they are relatively low in weight, which means that it is easy and straightforward to hang your Canvas print without the help of additional wall-mounts. Canvas prints are suitable for all types of walls.
