Explanation

Susanna is an artwork by Rembrandt van Rijn in 1636. The more than 380 year-old original measures the size: height: 47,4 cm width: 38,6 cm | height: 18,7 in width: 15,2 in and was produced with the technique oil on panel. The original artpiece has the following text as inscrption: signed and dated: Rembr[ant f] / f 163[6]. Besides, the artwork is part of the art collection of Mauritshuis. Besides this, the alignment is in portrait format with a side ratio of 1 : 1.2, meaning that the length is 20% shorter than the width. The painter Rembrandt van Rijn was a European artist from the Netherlands, whose style can mainly be classified as Baroque. The European painter was born in 1606 in Leiden and died at the age of 63 in 1669.
