The masterpiece was created by the male painter Paul Gauguin. The beyond 130 year-old original was painted with the size of 46 x 54,9 cm (18 1/8 x 21 5/8 in). Oil on canvas was applied by the French artist as the technique for the piece of art. Nowadays, the work of art is in the the Yale University Art Gallery's digital collection in New Haven, Connecticut, United States of America. This public domain piece of art is being included with courtesy of Yale University Art Gallery. The creditline of the artwork is: Gift of Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin E. Bensinger, 1928. Further, the alignment of the digital reproduction is landscape and has a side ratio of 1.2 : 1, which means that the length is 20% longer than the width. The painter, sculptor, graphic artist Paul Gauguin was an artist from France, whose art style can primarily be classified as Impressionism. The painter lived for 55 years and was born in the year 1848 in Paris, Ile-de-France, France and died in the year 1903.
