The over 340 year old painting was made by the baroque master Mattheus Terwesten in 1680. Today, this artwork belongs to the Rijksmuseum's digital collection. Mattheus Terwesten was a painter, whose artistic style can be attributed mainly to Baroque. The European artist was born in 1670 and passed away at the age of 87 in the year 1757.
