1919 Corinth had acquired a plot in Urfeld am Walchensee, where his wife was built for the family a wooden house. Urfeld was Corinth increasingly becoming a refuge from the efforts of the city of Berlin. Sixty paintings have been preserved, in which he held the lake and its changing moods. The many different shades in which Corinth has applied the slopes for the description of the wood, and the sharp contours cause the viewer separately the individual parts of the image and can perform independently in each case. In this image, neither the space nor the air, the light barely play the leading role, but here the colors speak their own language. [Dietrun Otten, 2009]

Materials our customers can choose from

For every product we offer a range of different materials and sizes. You can choose among the following product customization options:

  • Poster (canvas material): Our poster print is a UV printed cotton canvas with a slightly roughened surface texture. It is qualified for framing your art copy using a special frame. Please keep in mind, that depending on the absolute size of the poster we add a white margin 2-6cm round about the painting to facilitate the framing with your custom frame.
  • Printed acrylic glass (with real glass coating): A glossy print on acrylic glass, which is often denoted as a fine art print on plexiglass, will change your favorite artwork into décor. Your own replica of the work of art will be custom-made with the help of modern UV print technology.
  • Metal print (aluminium dibond): Aluminium Dibond prints are metal prints with an outstanding depth. Colors are bright and luminous, details are crisp and clear.
  • The canvas print: The canvas print is a printed canvas stretched on a wooden frame. The advantage of canvas prints is that they are relatively low in weight, which means that it is quite simple to hang your Canvas print without the help of extra wall-mounts. A canvas print is suitable for all types of walls.
