The original version has the dimensions: 69 x 85 cm - frame dimensions: 86 x 102 x 9 cm and was manufactured with the techinque of oil on canvas. Signed and dated center right: RUSS LEANDER / 1836 is the painting's original inscription. Nowadays, the artpiece can be viewed in in the digital collection of Belvedere, which is one of Europe's most famous museums with three locations that blends the experience of architecture and art in a unique way. Further, the alignment is landscape with a ratio of 1.2 : 1, meaning that the length is 20% longer than the width. The painter Leander Russ was an artist, whose artistic style can be classified as Realism. The Realist artist lived for 55 years and was born in the year 1809 in Vienna, Vienna state, Austria and deceased in 1864 in Kaltenleutgeben, Niederosterreich, Austria.
