In 1868 the male Austrian artist Karl von Blaas painted this artpiece. The piece of art has the size: 66 x 163,5 cm. Oil on canvas was used by the European painter as the technique for the piece of art. The original artwork's inscription is the following: signed and dated in the presentation right on the wall: C. Blaas / 1868; Designation lower center: BELGRADE / 10 OKTO R.1789. It forms part of the Belvedere's digital art collection, which is located in Vienna, Austria. With courtesy of - © Belvedere, Vienna, inventory number: 2472 (public domain license). Additionally, the artpiece has the following creditline: transfer from the Kunsthistorisches Museum, Vienna in 1924. What is more, the alignment of the digital reproduction is landscape with a side ratio of 5 : 2, which implies that the length is two and a half times longer than the width. The mosaicist, painter, autobiographer Karl von Blaas was a European artist from Austria, whose artistic style can be classified as Historicism. The painter lived for a total of 79 years, born in the year 1815 in Nauders, Tyrol, Austria and deceased in 1894 in Vienna, Vienna state, Austria.
