Article specifications

In 1835 the artist John Jackson created this artwork. The more than 180 years old original creation was painted with the size: 30 × 23 3/4 in (76,3 × 63 cm). Oil on canvas was used by the painter as the medium of the piece of art. What is more, the artwork is included in the digital collection of Art Institute Chicago, which is one of the world’s great art museums, housing a collection that spans centuries and the globe. We are pleased to mention that the work of art, which belongs to the public domain is supplied with courtesy of Art Institute Chicago. Besides, the work of art has the following creditline: Gift of Mrs. G.P.A. Healy. On top of that, alignment of the digital reproduction is in portrait format with a side ratio of 1 : 1.2, which means that the length is 20% shorter than the width.
