Portraits of Louis Royer (1787-1868), sculptor and Albertus Bernardus Roothaanhuis (1793-1847), stockbroker, art friend and enhancer of the sciences. The two men hand, right to each other on a table is a statue of a Greek shepherd Royer defeats a snake.
