Nordic landscape was by Hugo Darnaut. The more than 100 year-old original creation had the following size: 43 x 56 cm - frame dimensions: 63 x 76 x 7 cm. Oil on canvas was applied by the Austrian painter as the technique for the artwork. Signed lower left: H. Darnaut was the masterpiece's original inscription. This artwork is in the the digital collection of Belvedere, which is one of Europe's most famous museums with three locations that blends the experience of architecture and art in a unique way. This public domain masterpiece is being provided with courtesy of © Belvedere, Vienna, inventory number: 1751. Furthermore, the artwork has the following creditline: purchase from Economic Association of Artists of Austria, Vienna in 1915. Furthermore, alignment is in landscape format and has a ratio of 4 : 3, which means that the length is 33% longer than the width. The painter Hugo Darnaut was a European artist, whose art style can primarily be classified as Realism. The Austrian painter was born in 1850 in Dessau, Saxony-Anhalt, Germany and deceased at the age of 87 in 1937.
