The beyond 220 year-old original version was made with the size: 47 × 35,9 cm (18 1/2 × 14 1/8 in) and was painted with the medium oil on mahogany panel. The original masterpiece has the following text as inscrption: "signed on column at right: "E. Savage/1793"". Today, this artwork is part of the collection of Art Institute Chicago, which is one of the world’s great art museums, housing a collection that spans centuries and the globe.
