This artwork "Portrait of Édouard Manet" was painted by the realist painter Carolus-Duran in 1876. The painting has the size: 63,5 x 45,4 cm (25 x 17 7/8 in) and was manufactured with the medium oil on canvas. The original artwork's inscription is - "Carolus-Duran" in upper left corner. Moveover, this artwork can be viewed in in the digital collection of RISD Museum in Providence, Rhode Island, United States. With courtesy of - RISD Museum, Providence, RI (public domain license). In addition to that, the artwork has the creditline: purchased with the Frederick Lippitt Bequest. Besides this, the alignment is portrait with an image ratio of 1 : 1.2, meaning that the length is 20% shorter than the width. Carolus-Duran was a male painter, whose style can be classified as Realism. The Realist artist lived for 80 years, born in 1837 in Lille and deceased in the year 1917 in Paris.
