The masterpiece with the title Pan and Syrinx was made by the master Caesar Boëtius van Everdingen. Nowadays, this piece of art is in the the Rijksmuseum's digital art collection, which is the largest museum for Dutch art and history from the Middle Ages to the present day. The eternally lustful god of the woods and fields, Pan, has his sights set on the chaste nymph Syrinx, a follower of the goddess Diana. When Syrinx’s escape is blocked by a river and Pan is about to overpower her, she is transformed into tall reeds. Pan made a set of pipes from them. Van Everdingen placed all of the emphasis on the fleeing Syrinx; Pan can hardly be detected in the dark forest.

The plexiglass with real glass coating protects your selected art print against light and heat for between 40-60 years.
• Printed poster on canvas material: The poster is a printed sheet of flat canvas with a slightly roughened finish on the surface, that resembles the original masterpiece. It is optimally qualified for putting your art copy with the help of a custom-made frame. Please bear in mind, that depending on the absolute size of the poster we add a white margin between 2-6cm round about the work of art, which facilitates the framing with your custom frame.
