In 1745 the artist Bernardo Bellotto painted this 18th century painting. The 270 years old version of the piece of art measures the size: unframed: 73,8 x 108,7 cm (29 1/16 x 42 13/16 in) framed: 97,3 x 131,9 cm (38 5/16 x 51 15/16 in) and was painted with oil on canvas. Nowadays, this work of art is included in the digital collection of Yale University Art Gallery, which belongs to Yale University and is the oldest art museum of a university in the western hemisphere. Furthermore, alignment of the digital reproduction is landscape and has a side ratio of 3 : 2, which means that the length is 50% longer than the width. Bernardo Bellotto was a painter, printmaker, whose style was primarily Rococo. The Italian artist lived for 59 years - born in 1721 in Venice, Venezia province, Veneto, Italy and deceased in the year 1780 in Warsaw, Mazowieckie, Poland.
