The masterpiece "Portrait of Constantijn Huygens (1596-1687) and his Five Children" was painted by the Dutch artist Adriaen Hanneman in 1640. The 380 year old piece of art has the following size: height: 204,2 cm width: 173,9 cm | height: 80,4 in width: 68,5 in. Oil on canvas was applied by the European painter as the technique for the work of art. The original artwork was inscribed with the following text: "inscription and dated: ECCE / HÆREDITAS / DOMINI. / Anno. 1640". What is more, this work of art forms part of the digital collection of Mauritshuis.
