"Gerard Mercator" is a piece of art painted by Titian (Tiziano Vecellio) in 1550. The more than 470 year old original was painted with the size: 109,9 x 94 x 2,5 cm (43 1/4 x 37 x 1 in) framed: 139,7 x 124,5 x 10,2 cm (55 x 49 x 4 in). Oil on canvas was applied by the Italian painter as the medium of the masterpiece. Today, this artpiece can be viewed in in the Yale University Art Gallery's art collection located in New Haven, Connecticut, United States of America. We are pleased to reference that this public domain artpiece is being included with courtesy of Yale University Art Gallery. The creditline of the artwork is: Gift of Hannah D. and Louis M. Rabinowitz. Further, the alignment is portrait with a side ratio of 1 : 1.2, which implies that the length is 20% shorter than the width.
