The piece of art was made by the romanticist painter Albert Bierstadt. The artpiece was made with the dimensions: 54 x 84 3/4 in, 120 lb, (137,2 x 215,3 cm, 54,43 kg) framed: 68 15/16 x 99 7/8 x 6 1/2 in (175,1 x 253,7 x 16,5 cm). Oil on canvas was applied by the painter as the medium of the masterpiece. The artpiece forms part of the Yale University Art Gallery's digital art collection. The painter Albert Bierstadt was an artist, whose art style was mainly Romanticism. The North American painter was born in 1830 in Solingen, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany and died at the age of 72 in 1902 in Irving, Chautauqua county, New York state, United States.
