Oil on canvas, transferred from wood was used by the European painter as the technique for the painting. Today, the piece of art can be viewed in in the collection of The Metropolitan Museum of Art. The painter François Clouet was a European artist from France, whose style can be attributed mainly to Mannerism. The Mannerist painter was born in the year 1511 and deceased at the age of 61 in the year 1572.
