Which would be your favorite material?

The product dropdown menu provides you with the opportunity to select a material and a sizeaccording to your preferences. We allow yout to choose among the following variants:

  • Acrylic glass print (with real glass coating on top): An acrylic glass print, often referred to as a UV print on plexiglass, makes the original artwork into wonderful décor and is a distinct alternative to dibond and canvas prints. The great upside of an acrylic glass fine art copy is that contrasts and small painting details will be identifiable with the help of the very subtle gradation in the picture. The acrylic glass protects your selected fine art print against sunlight and external influences for many decades.
  • Canvas print: A canvas print, which shall not be confused with a real canvas painting, is a digital replica printed onto cotton canvas material. Your canvas print of your favorite work of art will allow you to transform your fine art print into a large collection piece. A canvas print has the great advantage of being low in weight, meaning that it is easy and straightforward to hang up your Canvas print without the help of additional wall-mounts. Hence, canvas prints are suited for all types of walls.
  • Aluminium dibond: Aluminium Dibond prints are metal prints with an impressive effect of depth - for a modern impression and non-reflective surface structure. A direct Aluminium Dibond Print is the ideal introduction to fine art prints with aluminum. For our Aluminium Dibond print, we print the selected work of art right onto the surface of the white-primed aluminum composite. The bright and white parts of the artwork shine with a silk gloss but without the glow. The colors of the print are luminous and vivid in the highest definition, the details are crisp, and you can literally feel a matte appearance. This direct UV print on aluminium is one of the most demanded entry-level products and is an extremely modern way to display fine art prints, because it puts the viewer’s attention on the replica of the artwork.
  • Poster (canvas material): Our poster is a printed flat canvas paper with a slight surface texture, which resembles the original masterpiece. It is perfectly suited for placing your art copy in a custom-made frame. Please note, that depending on the absolute size of the poster print we add a white margin of around 2-6cm around the artwork to facilitate the framing with a custom frame.

Legal disclaimer: We try what we can in order to describe our products as precisely as we can and to exhibit them visually on the different product detail pages. However, the colors of the printing material, as well as the imprint might differ slightly from the presentation on your screen. Depending on your screen settings and the condition of the surface, colors may not be printed 100% realistically. Given that the art prints are printed and processed by hand, there might as well be minor differences in the size and exact position of the motif.

Original artwork description by Nationalmuseum Stockholm (© Copyright - Nationalmuseum Stockholm - Nationalmuseum Stockholm)

English: During the second half of the nineteenth century the sea and coastal landscapes became a recurring theme in French art. Realists, open air painters and impressionists found their way to the coast to depict the waves, sky and light. Maurice Denis belonged to the group ”Les Nabis”. The aesthetic ideal of the group was shaped by the new art impulses of the late nineteenth century—among other things, contact with symbolism and artists such as Paul Gauguin. Their handling of colour and free way of painting also has similarities with early modernism and the abstract paiting that developed at the beginning of the twentieth century.
