English: Boy with a Wheelbarrow is one of Ernst Josephson’s freshest and brightest paintings. He painted it on Dalarö in the summer of 1880. It was around this time that he began to let more daylight into his imagery. Before then, he had been inspired by earlier painting, which was in darker colours. When he visited Paris in 1879, he was impressed by the modern artists there, who painted whatever they saw around them, in natural light and clear colours.

Select the item material of your choice

We offer a range of different sizes and materials for every product. Choose among the following product options now to match your preferences in size and material:

  • Poster print (canvas material): The poster print is a printed canvas paper with a slightly rough surface texture. It is suited for framing the art replica using a personal frame. Please note, that depending on the absolute size of the canvas poster print we add a white margin of approximately 2-6cm round about the artwork in order to facilitate the framing with your custom frame.
  • Aluminium dibond (metal print): This is a metal print manufactured on aluminium dibond with an outstanding depth effect - for a modern look and a non-reflective surface. A direct Aluminium Dibond Print is the best start to fine art prints with aluminum. Colors are luminous, the details of the print are crisp and clear, and you can notice the matte appearance of the fine art print.
  • Canvas print: A canvas print, which should not be confused with a canvas painting, is a digital replica printed on a UV direct printer. The great advantage of canvas prints is that they are relatively low in weight, which implies that it is easy to hang your Canvas print without additional wall-mounts. A canvas print is suitable for any kind of wall.
  • Print on acrylic glass (with real glass coating): An acrylic glass print, often referenced as a an art print on plexiglass, makes the original work of art into amazing décor. Above all, the acrylic art print offers a distinct alternative option to dibond and canvas art prints.
