Select the item material you will hang up on your walls

For every art print we offer a range of different sizes and materials. You can choose your preferred material and size among the subsequent options:

  • Aluminium dibond: An Aluminium Dibond print is a material with an impressive depth effect. Its non-reflective surface structure creates a fashionable impression. The bright & white parts of the artwork shimmer with a silky gloss, however without glare. The direct UV print on aluminium is the most popular entry-level product and is an extremely sophisticated way to showcase fine art reproductions, since it puts the viewer’s focus on the artwork.
  • Poster (canvas material): The poster print is a UV printed canvas with a slightly roughened structure on the surface. Please keep in mind, that depending on the size of the poster we add a white margin between 2 - 6cm round about the work of art to facilitate the framing.
  • Canvas: A canvas direct print is a printed cotton canvas stretched on a wooden stretcher. Your printed canvas of this artwork will let you turn your fine art print into a large collection piece. A canvas print has the great advantage of being relatively low in weight, meaning that it is quite simple to hang up the Canvas print without additional wall-mounts. Canvas prints are suited for any kind of wall.
  • Acrylic glass print (with real glass coating): An print on acrylic glass, which is often named as a print on plexiglass, transforms an original into stunning home décor. The work of art is being made with modern UV direct print machines. It makes vivid, impressive colors. With an acrylic glass fine art print contrasts plus artwork details become more visible because of the subtle gradation in the picture. The acrylic glass protects your selected fine art print against light and external influences for many years to come.

Important note: We try everythig possible to describe our products as precisely as we can and to display them visually. Nonetheless, the colors of the printed materials, as well as the printing may differ to a certain extent from the representation on your monitor. Depending on your screen settings and the condition of the surface, color pigments might not be printed as exactly as the digital version. Bearing in mind that all art prints are processed and printed manually, there may as well be slight differences in the size and exact position of the motif.

Although he worked in a wide variety of styles, Segal consistently explored optical effects throughout his career. Here, Segal employs a pointillist technique to capture the quality of sunlight, stippling his canvas with tiny dots of pigment. An X-ray of this painting reveals that Segal initially included a seated woman, probably based on a photograph of his wife (both shown below). Note the identical hands, chair, and leaves beside her. In the final version, he removes the woman and replaces the curving, organic lines of the chair with straight, angular lines.
