This creates the impression of vibrant and impressive colors. The major benefit of a plexiglass fine art copy is that contrasts and also small painting details will be more recognizeable because of the subtle tonal gradation.
  • Aluminium dibond print: An Aluminium Dibond print is a print material with an impressive depth. The non-reflective surface structure creates a contemporary impression. The colors are luminous and vivid, details appear very clear.
  • Canvas print: A canvas print, which should not be mistaken with a painting on a canvas, is a digital copy printed on an industrial printer. The great advantage of canvas prints is that they are relatively low in weight, which means that it is easy and straightforward to hang your Canvas print without extra wall-mounts. Canvas prints are suitable for all types of walls.

Legal disclaimer: We try in order to describe our products with as many details as possible and to demonstrate them visually in our shop. Nonetheless, the tone of the print products and the printing can vary marginally from the representation on the screen. Depending on the screen settings and the nature of the surface, color pigments might not be printed as exactly as the digital version depicted here. Because all our art reproductions are processed and printed manually, there might also be slight discrepancies in the motif's size and exact position.

General description from the museum (© - by Rijksmuseum - www.rijksmuseum.nl)

In the course of his long and successful career, Aert Schouman took a large number of pupils under his wing. One of them here imitated the kind of depictions his teacher made. Schouman’s mastery becomes evident when the two works are compared. The leaves in this unsigned watercolour are somewhat static and stiffly painted, and the colouring of the work as a whole is also much less expressive.
