Oil on panel was used by the Dutch painter as the medium of the piece of art. The artwork is included in the digital collection of Mauritshuis, which the Mauritshuis is home to the best artworks of Dutch painting of the seventeenth century. The classic art masterpiece, which belongs to the public domain is included with courtesy of Mauritshuis, The Hague. Rembrandt van Rijn was a male painter, whose artistic style can be attributed mainly to Baroque. The Baroque artist was born in the year 1606 in Leiden and passed away at the age of 63 in 1669 in Amsterdam.
