While in Arles, Van Gogh painted two very similar portraits of Marie Ginoux, the proprietress of the Café de la Gare, wearing the regional costume of the legendary dark-haired beauties of Arles. The first version, which he described in a letter of November 1888 as "an Arlésienne . . . knocked off in one hour," must be the more thinly and summarily executed portrait in the Musée d'Orsay, Paris. In it a parasol and gloves lie on the table instead of books. This portrait belonged to the sitter until she sold it in 1895.

Pick your product material
The product dropdown menu ofers you the possibility to choose the size and material of your choice. We allow yout to choose among the following variants:
- The canvas print: A printed canvas, which shall not be mistaken with a canvas painting, is an image printed on a UV direct printing machine. Also, a canvas print creates a soft, appealing impression. Canvas Prints have the advantage of being low in weight, which means that it is easy to hang your Canvas print without the help of extra wall-mounts. A canvas print is suited for all types of walls.
- Metal (aluminium dibond print): These are metal prints on aluminium dibond with a true effect of depth, which creates a modern look by having a non-reflective surface structure. A direct Aluminium Dibond Print is your ideal introduction to fine art prints made with aluminum. For our Direct Print On Aluminum Dibond, we print your favorite artwork right onto the aluminium composite white-primed surface. The bright & white parts of the original artwork shine with a silky gloss but without any glow. The colors of the print are luminous in the highest definition, the details of the print are clear and crisp, and you can truly perceive the matte appearance of the print.
- Poster print (canvas material): The Artprinta poster is a printed canvas paper with a slightly rough structure on the surface. It is perfectly designed for framing the art print with a customized frame. Please keep in mind, that depending on the size of the canvas poster print we add a white margin 2-6cm round about the artwork to facilitate the framing with a custom frame.
- Print on acrylic glass: The print on acrylic glass, often referenced as a plexiglass print, will turn the artwork into magnificient décor and forms a viable alternative to aluminium or canvas prints. The work of art will be made with the help of modern UV print technology. It makes sharp and vivid color hues. With an acrylic glass fine art print contrasts plus minor artwork details will be more exposed due to the very subtle gradation. The real glass coating protects your custom art replica against sunlight and heat for up to six decades.

Important information: We try the best we can to describe our art products as clearly as possible and to exhibit them visually in our shop. Nonetheless, the pigments of the print products, as well as the imprint may differ marginally from the presentation on your device's screen. Depending on your settings of your screen and the condition of the surface, not all colors are printed 100% realistically. In view of the fact that all the art prints are printed and processed by hand, there might as well be minor discrepancies in the exact position and the size of the motif.
