Which item material do you favor?

For every art print we offer a range of different sizes and materials. We allow yout to choose among the following variants:

• Metal print (aluminium dibond): An Aluminium Dibond print is a print with a true depth effect. Its non-reflective surface make a contemporary impression. For our Direct Print On Aluminum Dibond, we print the artwork on the surface of the aluminum. The bright sections of the original artwork shimmer with a silk gloss, however without glare. The colors of the print are luminous in the highest definition, the details appear very clear. The direct UV print on aluminium is one of the most popular entry-level products and is an extremely contemporary way to display art prints, because it puts all of the viewer’s focus on the artwork.
• Printed acrylic glass (with real glass coating on top): A glossy acrylic glass print, often labelled as a print on plexiglass, changes your favorite original work of art into brilliant home decoration and offers a distinct alternative to canvas or aluminium dibond prints.
• Canvas: The printed canvas material mounted on a wooden frame. How do I hang a canvas print on the wall? The advantage of canvas prints is that they are relatively low in weight, which means that it is quite simple to hang your Canvas print without any wall-mounts. Hence, canvas prints are suitable for any type of wall.
• Poster (canvas material): The poster is a printed sheet of flat canvas with a fine finish on the surface. It is appropriate for placing your art replica in a customized frame. Please keep in mind, that depending on the absolute size of the poster print we add a white margin of approximately 2-6 cm around the painting in order to facilitate the framing with a custom frame.

Important note: We try everything to describe our art products with as many details as possible and to illustrate them visually on the different product detail pages. Please keep in mind that the tone of the printed materials and the printing might diverge somehwat from the presentation on the monitor. Depending on your settings of your screen and the nature of the surface, color pigments might not be printed one hundret percent realistically. Because our art reproductions are printed and processed by hand, there might also be slight discrepancies in the size and exact position of the motif.

This 19th century painting was painted by the expressionist artist Leo Gestel in 1891. Furthermore, the artwork is part of the collection of Rijksmuseum, which is the largest museum for Dutch art and history from the Middle Ages to the present day. Leo Gestel was a painter, graphic artist, whose artistic style was mainly Expressionism. The European artist lived for a total of 60 years and was born in 1881 in Woerden, South Holland, Netherlands and passed away in the year 1941.
