Order the material of your choice

The product dropdown list provides you with the possibility to choose the size and material of your choice. You can choose among the following product customization options:

  • Print on glossy acrylic glass: A glossy print on acrylic glass, which is often named as a an art print on plexiglass, transforms an original artwork into beautiful décor. The artwork is printed with the help of modern UV printing machines. This makes sharp and rich color tones. The great upside of an acrylic glass fine art print is that contrasts as well as details become more exposed because of the fine tonal gradation in the print. Our plexiglass with real glass coating protects your custom art replica against light and external influences for between 40-60 years.
  • The canvas print: The printed canvas applied on a wooden frame. Canvas prints are relatively low in weight, meaning that it is easy to hang the Canvas print without additional wall-mounts. A canvas print is suitable for any kind of wall.
  • Aluminium dibond print: Aluminium Dibond prints are prints on metal with an outstanding effect of depth. The bright & white parts of the artwork shine with a silk gloss but without glare.
  • Printed poster (canvas material): A poster print is a printed cotton canvas paper with a slightly roughened surface finish, that resembles the original version of the artwork. A poster print is excellently suited for framing your art replica with a personal frame. Please bear in mind, that depending on the size of the poster print we add a white margin 2-6cm around the print motif, which facilitates the framing with your custom frame.

Legal disclaimer: We try to describe the products as precisely as possible and to showcase them visually in our shop. Still, the colors of the printed materials, as well as the print result can vary somehwat from the presentation on your device's screen. Depending on your screen settings and the nature of the surface, color pigments may not be printed 100% realistically. Given that our fine art prints are printed and processed manually, there might as well be minor variations in the motif's size and exact position.

Leighton’s nickname, Jupiter Olympus, reflected his passion for classical antiquity and his status as a titan of British art. This work, made near the end of his life, takes its title from the Latin word for "tears." Traditional emblems of mourning such as cypresses, a withered wreath, and a setting sun symbolize the woman’s grief. A review of the 1895 Royal Academy exhibition in London imagined her visiting the funerary monument of her war-hero fiancé. Leighton’s classicism is evident in the column and the statuesque, draped figure; in the ornamented vessels; and in the tabernacle frame, which evokes a temple doorway.
