The modern art masterpiece was created by Franz Krüger. The original had the size: 30,5 x 26,5 cm - frame dimensions: 60 x 54 x 10 cm and was painted on the medium oil on cardboard on canvas. The original artwork's inscription is the following: "signed and dated on the back: F. Krüger 1849". The artwork belongs to the Belvedere's digital collection. This public domain work of art is being supplied with courtesy of © Belvedere, Vienna, inventory number: 1801. Creditline of the artwork: purchase from K. Walter Pachstitz, Berlin in 1916. The alignment is portrait with an aspect ratio of 1 : 1.2, which implies that the length is 20% shorter than the width. The painter Franz Krüger was an artist, whose artistic style can mainly be attributed to Realism. The artist lived for 60 years - born in 1797 in Großbadegast in Köthen, Anhalt and died in 1857 in Berlin.
