This classic art work of art titled Lady Reading the Letters of Heloise and Abelard was created by Auguste Bernard called Bernard d'Agesci. The 230 years old artwork measures the size: 32 × 25 1/2 in (81,3 × 64,8 cm) and was manufactured with the technique oil on canvas. "Inscribed: HELOISE, ABEL (on the leaves of the open book); LART / DAIME / DE / BERNA (on the spine of the closed book)" was the artpiece's inscription. Furthermore, this piece of art is included in the digital collection of Art Institute Chicago, which is one of the world’s great art museums, housing a collection that spans centuries and the globe. We are pleased to reference that the public domain artpiece is included with courtesy of Art Institute Chicago. The creditline of the artpiece is: Mrs. Harold T. Martin Fund; Lacy Armour Endowment; Charles H. and Mary F.S. Worcester Collection. In addition to this, the alignment is portrait and has a ratio of 3 : 4, which means that the length is 25% shorter than the width.
