The minuet is a baroque dance, greatly appreciated the court of Louis XIV. This pleasant subject, under the theme of the ball, took a leading role in the kind of gallant painting, initiated by Antoine Watteau and characteristic eighteenth siècle.Sébastien Le Clerc gets Watteau prom this theme between inside and outside .
