Triptych: Weighing, consultation, distribution of milk

Collaborator of Louis Pasteur, Dr. Gaston Variot pioneer of childcare, is shown on the center panel at the time of consultation. He founded in 1892 the clinic Belleville to protect early childhood while ensuring the education of mothers. Dr. Variot who loved to surround himself with artists, found in Geoffrey's friend and painter who would share its medical and social ideals. Exhibited at the Salon of French artists in 1903, this triptych was acquired by the City of Paris for the Petit Palais, and then put on deposit with the Public Assistance Hospitals of Paris until 2016
