The more than 90 years old painting Ajaccio was created by the artist Anton Faistauer in 1926. The original has the size: 73 x 100 cm - frame dimensions: 95 x 123 x 10 cm and was made on the medium oil on canvas. The original artwork is inscribed with the following information: "signed and dated top right: A. Faistauer / 1926". What is more, this artpiece is included in the digital collection of Belvedere. With courtesy of © Belvedere, Vienna, inventory number: 3343 (licensed: public domain). Also, the artwork has the following creditline: transfer by the Federal Ministry of Education in 1936. Moreover, alignment is in landscape format with a ratio of 1.4 : 1, which implies that the length is 40% longer than the width. The painter Anton Faistauer was an artist, whose artistic style can be attributed primarily to Expressionism. The artist was born in the year 1887 in Martin near Lofer, Salzburg and deceased at the age of 43 in 1930 in Vienna.
