This 17th century painting titled Portrait of Jacoba Maria van Wassenaer (1654-1683), known asThe Poultry Yard was made by the baroque painter Jan Steen in 1660. The version of the work of art measures the size: height: 106,6 cm width: 80,8 cm | height: 42 in width: 31,8 in. Oil on canvas was applied by the Dutch artist as the technique for the painting. The artwork's inscription is: signed and dated: JSteen. / 1660. This artwork can be viewed in in the Mauritshuis's digital art collection, which the Mauritshuis is home to the best artworks of Dutch painting of the seventeenth century. Jan Steen was a male painter of Dutch nationality, whose artistic style can be attributed primarily to Baroque. The Baroque artist was born in 1626 in Alkmaar, North Holland, Netherlands and deceased at the age of 53 in 1679.
