Hans Memling was a Netherlandish from the Netherlands, whose style can mainly be attributed to Northern Renaissance. The Dutch artist lived for 64 years and was born in 1430 in Seligenstadt, Hessen state, Germany and died in the year 1494 in Bruges, West-Vlaanderen, Flanders, Belgium.
