This more than 450 year old work of art was created by the mannerist artist Hans Bol. The original version has the following size - height: 50,5 cm width: 85,5 cm | height: 19,9 in width: 33,7 in and was painted with watercolour on canvas. The original artwork's inscription is the following: signed and dated: Hans Bol / 1564. Nowadays, the artpiece belongs to the Mauritshuis's digital art collection, which the Mauritshuis is home to the best artworks of Dutch painting of the seventeenth century. This classic art public domain artpiece is being included with courtesy of Mauritshuis, The Hague. : S. Nijstad Gallery, The Hague; purchased with the support of the Rembrandt Association and the Prince Bernhard Culture Fund, 1972. The painter, printmaker Hans Bol was an artist, whose art style was mainly Mannerism. The European artist was born in 1534 in Mechelen, Antwerpen province, Flanders, Belgium and passed away at the age of 59 in 1593.
