The 19th century painting In the church, Oil study onDisputa was painted by Cecil van Haanen. The 130 years old version of the work of art was painted with the dimensions: 48,5 x 33,5 cm - frame dimensions: 60 x 50 x 8 cm. Oil on canvas was used by the European artist as the medium of the painting. Signed left edge: C. H. was the masterpiece's inscription. Nowadays, the artwork can be viewed in in the digital collection of Belvedere, which is one of Europe's most famous museums with three locations that blends the experience of architecture and art in a unique way. The creditline of the artpiece is the following: purchase from the Dorotheum, Vienna in 1949. The painter Cecil van Haanen was an artist from the Netherlands, whose artistic style was mainly Art Nouveau. The Dutch artist was born in 1844 in Vienna, Vienna state, Austria and deceased at the age of 70 in 1914 in Vienna.
