Demachy presented tables showing the same view in 1793 shows (nº120) and 1802 (nº75). The presence of the Chappe telegraph the Louvre dome excludes paintings of the same subject presented at trade fairs before 1793. This view was for another painting of the new bridge and the gallery of the Louvre, taken from the Pont Royal ( see P95).
