View of La Muette castle with the arrival of the King, current 16th district. Urban landscape. Horses, carriages, soldiers of the royal escort, door and village of Passy.

Built by Philibert Delorme order of Charles IX, the castle served as a kennel and captaincy of the Bois de Boulogne hunts. Louis XV had a place of entertainment. In 1792 the estate was sold and it is from this date that began butchering the field. In 1920 the castle was destroyed and rebuilt. Cf.
